Making the Repair:
-
Note: This type repair may not completely obscure the blemish but
it will be much less noticeable and the strength of the polymer adhesive
will keep the cracks from spreading.
If the blemish seems to be pronounced at the point of impact, Re-apply
Resin and Curing Strip. Apply a small drop of the resin directly to the
blemish, and cover the area with a curing strip. This time scrape over
the top of the strip with the razor blade to force excess resin from the
blemish moving it away from the blemish area. This should leave the repair
resin in the blemish with little or no excess resin over or around the
blemish.
When this cures, carefully scrape hardened repair resin from all areas
except the impact point. This should leave a slick glass smooth surface.
